The 2024 OTN Symposium is taking place from Sept. 23-26 in Halifax, N.S.  

It will begin on the evening of Sept. 23, with two full days of presentations and panel discussions from Sept. 24-25, followed by an early career researcher workshop on Sept. 26. This event brings together researchers from across the globe to collaborate, share strategies and seek new opportunities for the sustainable management of aquatic animals in changing ocean environments.

Schedule

The 2024 OTN Symposium will include oral presentations, speed talks, workshops and posters. Sessions will run concurrently and be organized by different themes. Themes will include conservation and management; movement ecology; freshwater and rivers; collaboration, outreach, and engagement; and more.
